About me
Hey there! I’m Allie—a friendly, quirky therapist with a knack for working with neurodivergent kids, teens, and their awesome families. I’m a licensed independent clinical social worker, and if you’ve been searching for someone who gets it, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve been in this field for over 15 years, starting out as a special education teacher and eventually diving deep into therapy and family coaching. I’ve got a Bachelor’s in Special Education from Fitchburg State and a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University. But honestly, I think the real magic comes from connecting with people, understanding their unique brains, and finding what actually works for them.
I’m all about neurodiversity and the idea that being different isn’t a problem—it’s part of who we are. Whether you’re navigating Autism, ADHD, anxiety, executive function challenges, or just the daily grind of being a parent in a neurodiverse family, I’m here to help you navigate it with humor, compassion, and a boatload of empathy.
I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families, helping them not just survive, but thrive in a world that doesn’t always get them. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can work through the tough stuff together—whether it’s managing big feelings, finding better communication strategies, or figuring out how to make life flow a little more smoothly.
When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m likely supervising MSW students (they’re the future, people!), organizing workshops to support neurodivergent families, or curating resources for parents who need a little extra help. I’m all about creating inclusive, empowering spaces—whether that's for your family, your school, or your community.
If you’re looking for someone who can see the brilliance in the mess and help you work through the tough moments, I’m your person.
